What is Hydrogen, and why use it?

Hydrogen is the smallest, and lightest element, and a great fuel source for the planet in the years to come, due to its virtually non-polluting nature. When burned Hydrogen produces heat energy, and water. That’s all!!  Just water, and heat. By adding Hydrogen to the fuel mix in an internal combustion engine, the burn efficiency goes up, so more fuel is burned, more power output, less bad emissions, less throttle required for the same work for better fuel economy.

NO Hydrocarbons, Oxides of Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, or Carbon Dioxide!!

Do you use Pure Hydrogen? And how is it stored?

 No, our system uses both Hydrogen and Oxygen together to further increase the burning of the fossil fuels in the engine. Now here is the good part! The gases that we introduce into the engine are obtained from WATER, yes WATER! Our system takes distilled water and splits the molecules into Hydrogen, and Oxygen gasses, that are not pressurized above 2” of water, that’s about ¼ psi., so no HUGE high pressure tanks to worry about! Our unit takes up approximately 2 cubic feet of space in a step box, and uses 32-38 amperes of current from the alternator.

I’ve seen some very complex HHO units on the web, are yours this way?

NO, NO, and NO. We adhere to the KISS axiom: Keep It Simple Stupid. This reminds us to NOT over engineer, and complicate things. Our unit uses, toggle switches, relays, wire, fuse, and gauges, all of which can be found at a good auto supply store if needed. No fancy digital controller to quit, and cause problems. This is also done so that YOU, the owner of the unit, is in charge of things, not some computer.

Is installation difficult?

Not really, the hardest thing is the placement of the induction nipple, which will sometimes require you to drill and tap a hole in the air intake tube Before the turbocharger, when equipped, and re-routing the air brake compressor intake hose to a point before the HHO induction nipple. If you have a basic knowledge of electrical, And mechanical skills the installation should be no problem. Taking between 4 – 8 hours, depending on accessibility of components.

How much money can I save on Diesel?

 On our prototypes, we have seen savings of 15-28%. An over the road truck spending $7000 per month on fuel can expect $1400 in savings if they get a 20% gain from our unit. Some times the savings are greater, and sometimes less, it all depends on the conditions and driving habits of the driver.

How much does the unit cost to run per mile?

All that is needed to run the unit is distilled water. Wal-Mart sells that for 77 cents per gallon. Your unit will only use about 1 gallon per week if you are an over-the-road trucker. If you run locally your draw on water will be much less.

What can and will break?

We have been running proto-types to eliminate problems before the units hit the road. There are NO moving parts. Our initial test units were suffering from leaks, but we have now gone to heavy gauge stainless welded boxes and eliminated that problem. During the process, we also were able to increase hydrogen production while decreasing the amperage draw.

What would this affect my warranty?

Many have asked whether our Hydrogen Generator will void their warranty?  The short answer is NO.  The answer is the same as for anything added to your vehicle.  If something about this Hydrogen Generator system, like improper installation, causes damage to your engine, don’t expect the manufacturer to pay for the damage done.  The main thing that could cause damage is dumping a water solution of strong chemicals into your engine.  That can not happen with a properly installed Hydrogen Generator system but if you ignore the installation instructions because you are a great experimenter who “knows what he’s doing” then you could cause damage. There is nothing about our Hydrogen Generator system that can cause damage by itself.

RE: The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act Federal law sets forth requirements for warranties and contains a number of provisions to prevent vehicle manufacturers, dealers and others from unjustly denying warranty coverage. With regard to aftermarket parts, warranty coverage cannot be denied simply because such parts are present on the vehicle.  The warranty coverage cannot be denied unless the aftermarket part is proven to have caused the malfunction or damage.
